Kia ora Prize Giving We had a great night at the prizegiving. Thank you for coming along to celebrate the children’s achievements. On the next pages are the lists of the prize winners. Finally, I wish you and your family a safe and happy break. I will be telling the children that they should read something every day because reading sets them up for life. 2020 School Year at Linton Camp School ; We start the new school year on Mon. 3 Feb. 8.55am. The school office will be open from Mon. 27 Jan. for any enquirer or to answer any questions. L.C.S. will be closed on Thursday 6 Feb. for Waitangi Day. And Friday 27 March for a Teacher Only Day.

Camp adventures. By Jordan Campbell. A bitter wind whistles through the dark and gloomy cave. “Hey” yells Mr Tongs “is everything alright back there?” “Yep” Ruby answers. Ruby tapped me on the shoulder and said “Woah look a crayfish!” It was coming towards me. Ruby and I were leaning towards a rock which helped us move around the puddles, the water dribbled down the walls of the cave. We finally got to the end of the cave! “Does anyone want to go through the 'eye of the needle'?” I was scared because I didn’t know what was on the other side, it was a dark and thin tunnel, lots of uneven stones and puddles of water.
