
School finishes early for Hui Tuatahi
School Finishes at 2.00pm Monday 7, Tuesday 8 and Wednesday 9 March. On Monday 7, Tuesday 8 and Wednesday 9 March we hold our Hui Tuatahi. School will finish at 2.00pm on these 3 days. Please make arrangements for your child’s after school care from 2.00pm on these three days.

Hui Tuatahi
The first of our parent/teacher meetings. Our Hui Tuatahi will be held on Monday 7, Tuesday 8 & Wednesday 9 March. This is a chance for you to meet your child’s teacher. And for you, your child and their teacher to sit down together to talk about your child, their needs and their goals. It is the first hui of the year, to see where your child is in their learning journey and to discuss how we all can help your child along their journey. Another hui will be held in Term 3 to


Face Masks In Senior School
Thank you to all the many parents who have supplied face masks for their year 4-8 students to wear at school everyday. Please don’t forget face masks do need to be changed daily and washed after a days wear. We will ask children to take their mask home on Fridays for you to have the chance to pop them in the wash over the weekend. Thank you again.


Firewood for Sale
Firewood We’ve had a number of trees removed this week, and the result is a large amount of tree ‘rounds’. These are available for our community if you possess fire permits etc. The school respectfully asks for a koha to help us cover the unexpected costs of the tree work. See Lisa in the office to arrange collection of your winter firewood supply.


Juicies for Sales
We are still selling Juicies !! The Senior Team are selling Juicies to raise money for materials to make poi for our Kapahaka roopu. The juices will be sold on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays for Only $1 each. Bring your $1 to Te Whare Tapere in the morning & we will distribute the juices at 12.30pm.

Is Your Child Unwell?
Is Your Child Unwell? It is that time of year when there are a lot of bugs, colds and hay fever going around. And unfortunately this week we have had a lot of children come to school who were not really up to a day of learning. I would like to remind you that any child who is unwell must stay at home. This is not just about spreading germs but your child will not learn is they are feeling unwell. It is a long hard day if they have a headache or are struggling to breathe. If
