Palmerston North City Celebrates 150 years
30 June was the 150th Anniversary of Palmerston North City. The City Council marked this day with the planting of trees at all schools in their area. Councillor Susan Baty joined our Student Leadership Team to plant a Matai tree here at LCS.

Visiting our lunch supplier
This week your senior students visited the Libelle kitchen to see where and how their lunches are made. The shear size of the kitchen made an impression on the students and teachers. While there, they checked out the food storage areas like the freezer and chiller and the rows of ovens for reheating the meals. One of the cooks impressed on the students how important maths was in the kitchen to calculate quantities and scheduling of the ovens so all meals were ready on time a
