Reading Together Workshops: Term Two
As part of supporting students at Linton Camp School in Literacy, starting this term we are going to be offering a FREE course known as Reading Together.
The course is developed by ‘The Biddulph Group’ and is specifically designed to support parents and whanau in helping their children to become better readers at home.
These will be offered in Term 2, Term 3 and possibly Term 4, so if you can’t make it this term, there will be another chance! Please note there are limited spaces available so if the course for this term becomes full then there will be another opportunity in other terms.
Each programme has four approximately one-hour workshops that are sequential and designed to build knowledge. They are structured so that ‘session one’ provides the knowledge for ‘session two’ etc so it is important that you attend all four!
Term Two sessions will be in our school hall, Te Whare Tapere for Sessions 1 and 3 and will be held at the Linton Library for Sessions 2 and 4, between 9.15 am – 10.15 am on:
Monday 20 May / Monday 27 May / Tuesday 4 June / Monday 1 July
