Reading Together

July 25, 2019

As part of supporting students at Linton Camp School in Literacy, this term we are going to be offering a FREE course known as Reading Together.

The course is developed by ‘The Biddulph Group’ and is specifically designed to support parents and whanau in helping their children to become better readers at home. We ran this last term and it was highly successful.

These will be offered in Term 3 and possibly Term 4 or in 2020 so if you can’t make it this term, there will  be another chance! Please note there are limited spaces available so if the course for this term becomes full then there will be another opportunity in other terms.

Each programme has four approximately one-hour workshops that are sequential and designed to build knowledge.  They are structured so that ‘session one’ provides the knowledge for ‘session two’ etc so it is important that you attend all four!

The dates for the workshops are still to be decided but it will be in the evening starting at 5:30pm with a shared dinner (provided for parents attending the course and their children if you need to bring them), followed by the workshop which will run 6-7pm.

To register your interest please email Ella at ediprose@lintoncamp.school.nz or see her in person.More information to come in emails and in the next newsletter.
