Production 2019 Organistion

September 12, 2019

Information for those who where not with us last time;

  • Every class have put together an item for the production that involves every child - so every child will be performing on stage.

  • Your classroom teacher maybe asking for various items for costumes or prompts, please send these to school asap so your child has what they need to rehearse their part.

  • Production Day is Wednesday 25 September

  • 9.00am The whole school goes by bus to the Speirs Centre for a final rehearsal on the stage.

  • 12.30 - 1.30 return to school.

  • 5.30pm Children are to arrive at the Speirs Centre to get ready.

  • 6.00pm SHOW TIME. (Have you bought YOUR  tickets yet?)

  • Parents are asked to help their children’s performance by keeping quiet & in your seats. We ask that you also keep all little children quiet and not running around the theatre. It is a privilege to use this facility.

  • We are recoding the performance & the DVD will be available for sale so we ask that your sit back and enjoy the performance and not distract the children with your camera or phone.

  • Prams & pushchairs will not be allowed in the auditorium. There is no room for prams, they become an evacuation hazard if left in the aisle.

  • Food and drink are not permitted in the auditorium.

  • When arriving back at the Speirs Centre, in the evening (5.30pm), students will be ushered into the Green Room to dress & wait until their performances.

  • Please toilet your children on arrival, before they come into the Green room.

  • Please make sure they bring everything they are asked to - costume, hair brush etc.. but nothing else especially sweet or coloured drinks & food or felt pens. Children will stay in the Green room until the end of the night and their Grande Finale. We ask that parents stay out of this area, we have enough help and your child will be well practised to be in this area without your help.

  • We ask for your patience at end of the evening, we will send the classes out one at a time as they are all packed up and ready. This process goes a lot quicker if you wait in the foyer & let your child come to you. And consider having only one family member to collect your child, perhaps the rest could meet you at the car.
