A bitter wind whistles through the dark and gloomy cave.
“Hey” yells Mr Tongs “is everything alright back there?”
“Yep” Ruby answers.
Ruby tapped me on the shoulder and said “Woah look a crayfish!”
It was coming towards me.
Ruby and I were leaning towards a rock which helped us move around the puddles, the water dribbled down the walls of the cave.
We finally got to the end of the cave! “Does anyone want to go through the 'eye of the needle'?”
I was scared because I didn’t know what was on the other side,
it was a dark and thin tunnel, lots of uneven stones and puddles of water. Could I crawl through that?
What did I learn from caving? Well, I learnt that I get very claustrophobic!
I had so much fun and I will never forget the time I went caving!
