Cluster Speech Competition

Last week saw 4 of our students represented our school in the Cluster Speech Competion -Rian Gerling, Brooklyn Allan-Mitchell, Evie Gerling and Nikora Wild.
The speech competition is not about just delivering a 2-3 minute prepared speech but each entrant also has to deliver an impromptu speech - they are given a topic and 30 seconds later have to deliver a 1 minute speech on this. A very daunting exercise!
All four of our students did well delivering their thought provoking speeches in a polished manner.
We wish to congratulate Evie Gerling for coming second in the year 6 category.
