FEEDBACK FROM OUR WHĀNAU HUI:

We gathered some great feedback from our Māori whānau last week. Here are some of the messages we heard:
KEEP
providing more learning opportunities in Te Ao Māori
using Te Reo Maori in the classroom
being open with us about our kids’ learning
developing teacher capability in Te Reo Māori
STOP
being fearful of change in case you get it wrong
saying tamariki names and place names incorrectly
START
kapa haka (we heard this strongly!)
whānau rep on the Board
termly whānau hui
recognise that even small steps/changes make a big difference
a Māori enrichment class
