FROM THE PRINCIPAL:
Kia ora koutou,
It has been so great to have been part of the Linton Camp School whānau for a week now! I was welcomed in with a beautiful mihi whakatau on my first day and it is a real privilege to be part of your kura. Thank you to everyone - staff, students, whānau - who have made me feel so welcome.
I am trying very hard to remember names, so please don't be offended if I have to ask you more than once! I am slowly matching names to faces of your children. Please do come say hi if you see me about, I would love to connect with you.
On that note - for those who are able, I invite you to pop in for a cup of tea or coffee in the staffroom tomorrow morning between 8:30-10am. Nothing formal - just a chance to say hi! I know many of
you won't be able to join due to work commitments but all are welcome.
I have enjoyed popping in and out of all the classrooms and spending time getting to know staff members. We have a really committed bunch of staff who work hard daily to give your tamariki the best possible education. My role is to enhance that and lead the school forward.
I'll see some of you tomorrow for a cuppa - if not, have a great weekend whānau.
Ngā mihi
Matt Costley
Principal
