SCHOOL LEARNING TIMES TERM 3

After staff feedback we are going to trial some different bell times during term 3. This is to maximise the amount of time and focus students have for learning, especially around Maths in the middle block.

The two main changes are:

• extending the middle learning block for an extra 30 minutes.

• having our school lunches delivered earlier so that children eat their main meal earlier at 11:15am, providing them with more 'fuel' for the rest of the day.

This means that the snack from home (what was morning tea) will now become an 'afternoon tea' snack eaten at 1:40pm. Playtimes will remain the same length.

We will review these timings at the end of term 3 to evaluate the impact on learning.
