Your child has been receiving free lunches for nearly two weeks, have you asked them what they think of the lunches?
Are they trying new foods?
Are the servings big enough?
If your child is still hungry after eating the lunches provided you will need to supplement them with a piece of fruit or a healthy snack or sandwich.
And please don’t forget your children are only getting lunch, they will still need to bring a piece of fruit for brain / fruit break and something for morning tea.
The menu for next week is sent to you as an attachment to this newsletter or you can check out the usual places for notices - website, Facebook etc…
If your child does not like what is on the menu for any particular day, just send them along with lunch from home. We can not cater for dislikes or change what they are being given.
