WHĀNAU RĀPIHI COLLECTION
NEXT FRIDAY - WHĀNAU RĀPIHI COLLECTION
Friday 2 June, 1:30-3pm - all welcome!
Thanks to all those who responded to our community survey last term. Some of the feedback you gave us was around wanting to see our students active in the community and for you to be involved too. We have heard this and want to respond in different ways.
As part of our work on our local curriculum we want to encourage our tamariki to have a positive impact on our local community, as well as to get out and about and orientate themselves around the Linton community.
To start this off, next Friday (2 June) we are having a community action afternoon where we will take our tamariki out around the school and collect rubbish. We would love to invite you to join your children in doing this with us! We will be meeting at 1:30pm at school and getting into house groups. Each house and their teachers will go to a different place (eg start of the track, Wedde Wood) and pick up rubbish for approximately an hour. Gloves and rubbish bags will be provided to children.
You are so welcome to come join us! Bring gloves if you have them, or we will have some for you.
