Seesaw - sharing our learning

Linton Camp School is made up of six classrooms in 2023. The classrooms cater for students from Year 0 - 8. All classes are using Seesaw rather than maintaining traditional class blogs. Seesaw is an app we use to empower our children to independently document what they are learning at school. Our children are able to ‘show what they are learning’ using photos, videos, drawings, text, PDFs, and links. Seesaw makes it easy for our learners and our teachers to review progress over time and demonstrate growth. Our aim is to give our children an authentic audience of their peers, parents and whanau, encouraging achievement and real feedback.

Children will have their own Seesaw account and will add work to share what they're doing at school with their parents. When a child adds items, their parents are notified. The children's Seesaw accounts are safe and secure and only their parents (and their teacher) has access to it. Parent sign up instructions were sent home at the beginning of the year - please contact your child's teacher if you need assistance.
